Sequel Systems highly commends and supports Suffolk County Executive Steve Levy's initiative towards implementing digitizing medical records in Suffolk, said Irfan Iqbal, Director of Medical Informatics, Sequel Systems Inc. Given that we are also in Suffolk County, we believe it to be a source of pride to be at the forefront of implementing President Barack Obama's call to standardize and digitize all health records by 2014 through the steps that will be taken by Mr. Levy at Suffolk County health centers. |

However, more appropriate reasons to switch to Electronic Medical Record Software have gone in hiding, under the carpet of Economic Stimulus Funding and Meaningful Use Recommendations. |

Considering EMR products for your Practice is a biggest challenge. There are many EMR vendors in market. The challenge is figuring out what to look for when evaluating for a potential product and vendor which fits in for your practice. All medical professionals know that their practices differ from one to another in a verity of ways one cannot assume that workflow of one office is like another. At times you might hear that your fellow doctor or physicians are using anonymous vendor’s product and they are satisfied with the results and you just by hearing that started considering the same vendor, its human psyche but that could be the biggest mistake you’ll make in selecting an appropriate vendor for yourself. |
